Digital Camera?

Internal memory is the memory that is built in the camera. It means you can use this camera even without a memory card. However, most internal memories are so small that you can only shoot a few pictures and it will be full. The camera will then stop working until you clear the memory by either downloading it to a computer or deleting some or all of the shots. Luckily most digital cameras now have slots for external memory. This external memory is a lot bigger than intenal ones (up to the Gigabyte size) and if you manage to fill it up while on the road away from your computer, just pop in another one (hopefully you have another one) and continue shooting.
